Pearl's Story

** Courtesy Listing **

Pearl is one of 5 sled dogs in need that is looking for a new furrever home. Her current owner is selling their home and is unable to relocate with the "pack". Despite her owner's best attempts at rehoming these wonderful dogs, it is a year later and they are now down to the wire.

Their current owner mentioned that they are not high strung dogs and despite most expectations do not require excessive exercise, but do enjoy the outdoors and walks. A secure fenced in area is REQUIRED for these dogs. These retirees (they have a background in mid -distance racing) prefer the retired lifestyle. The owners would like to find pet/recreational homes for these amazing animals where they can be loved, spoiled and live out the rest of their lives in comfort as this is what they truly deserve.

Pearl is a 50lb 5yo spayed female, Pearl is a special girl who at times seems part person. She is very in-tune with human emotions and as a result would form a strong bond with her new owner. She is good with children and LOVES to hike, play and roll in the grass & snow. Pearl likes to think she’s in-charge, and has taken it upon herself to play the role of Alpha Female amongst our herd, as a result she plays best with other male dogs. Pearl would make a great companion to any family.

For more information please feel free to email us at info@dogslednh.com.
