Pearl's Story

Meet Pearl! She was taken to the shelter by a good samaritan after they accidently hit her with her car. She had two pelvic fractures and a femoral fracture. Knowing she needed more care than the shelter could provide, her only options were to be tagged by a rescue or unfortunately be euthanized. We were able to take her into our rescue and she had surgery the following week to fix her femur fracture! She has fully recovered from her surgery but will most likely always walk with a limp since her left leg is now about an inch shorter than her right.

Even through all the difficulties she has endured, she has been the most precious dog and is so loving. She can be timid at first, but quickly latches on to the people she trusts. She has now turned into her fosters shadow around the house! We are so excited she is officially ready for adoption.

Adoption fee is $200, which goes directly to helping pay for her surgery and care.

Apply to adopt Pearl here - forthedogsrescue.org/adoptionapplication

Email any questions about Pearl here - forthedogsrescue@gmail.com
