Peanuts's Story

Peanuts has had a rough time in his short life. He was found in a parking lot in a box with a sign that said "free". He did not understand why his owners would abandon him but he was a lucky one once he was found and brought to our rescue. As best that we can tell, he appears to be a Rat Terrier mix and is about 5.1 lbs and about 10 weeks old. He has had his first round of vaccines and microchipped.

Peanuts has your typical puppy energy so he will need basic puppy training. Rat Terriers had been bred for hunting so they do have a strong prey drive. They need to be socialized, exercised and always on leash.

The best home for Peanuts is a single family home with a secured yard so he can run off energy. Rat Terriers are very friendly and loving who just want to please their owners. Peanuts probably would not do well at home alone for more than 6 hrs a day..

If you would like to meet Peanuts please **FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION AT WWW.DOGSINNEEDORG.COM

He is currently being fostered in Riverside.

The adoption fee for Peanuts is $500 which will include all vaccines, neuter, Rabies and microchip
