Peanut's Story
Meet Peanut

Peanut is a 4-year-old male Cowboy Corgi (a Corgi and Australian Cattle Dog mix) weighing about 30 pounds. With his compact size and big personality, Peanut is the perfect mix of playful energy and loyal companionship.

Peanut has grown up in a loving home and is known for his sweet, easygoing nature. He gets along well with other dogs and has been great with kids, making him a wonderful potential family companion. While he hasn’t been around cats yet, his friendly temperament suggests he may adjust with proper introductions. He has been trained to go on wee wee pads and will be assessed to see if goes outside on a leash too.

Sadly, Peanut’s mom has become ill and can no longer care for him, so he is now looking for a new family who will give him the love and stability he deserves. He’s a devoted little guy who bonds closely with his people and will happily join you for walks, playtime, or just relaxing at home. He comes to NJ toward the end of March, excited to meet new people.

If you’re looking for a loyal, friendly dog with a big heart in a perfectly sized package, Peanut may be the one for you. He’s ready to start his next chapter with a family who will love him as much as he’ll love them.

To adopt Peanut, please go to www.peace4paws.org/adoption-application and complete the application on a laptop or computer.
