Peanut Butter's Story
Meet Peanut Butter!

Peanut Butter came to the shelter at the end of September from Wiggins, and at just 2.5 years young, this sweet boy is more than ready for his forever home. He arrived with his sister Jelly, who’s already been adopted. Now it’s Peanut Butter’s turn to find the yin to his yang... and it doesn’t have to be another dog (although he enjoys the company) but it could just be you!

Peanut Butter is heartworm negative, full of joy, and a self-proclaimed water dog. Splashing, wading, or full-on swimming — if there’s water involved, he’s in. He also loves his toys and knows how to have a good time.

One of his biggest cheerleaders is a member of our animal care team who works with him every day, helping him polish his skills. Peanut Butter already knows sit and is making great progress on his leash manners. He’s eager, smart, and loves having a job to do.

What really makes Peanut Butter special is his sweet disposition and that classic squishy pittie face that pittie lovers can’t resist. He’s affectionate, playful, and has so much love to give to his person.

Peanut Butter has been waiting patiently — now he’s just looking for his Jelly, his other half, his person. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will happily share adventures, toys, and maybe a little water fun... Peanut Butter might be the perfect match.
