Peanut's Story

My mom went to heaven and I had to find a new home. My vet reached out to Act2Pups and here I am and having the time of my life with all the other pups. I race around the back yard with the speedy pups and curl up and sit beside my foster mom. I like toys. I eat well and I'm house trained, as long as I can get out frequently. I'm only 4 1/2 years old, and weigh about 8lbs. I'm just the right size to enjoy being carried, but put me down and I fly around. I'm a young pup so I'd love a family with older children and active. I'm ready to go!

Act2Pups Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy
It is always best to make sure your pet(s) get along with the Act2Pups pet that you are interested in. This can be done at an adoption event, or an appointment can be arranged. We ask that all family members visit at the same time if possible. To start the adoption process a completed application is needed. (We currently do not have our application on line, but hope to soon). We will e-mail a copy of the application. Once the application is processed and approved a home visit is performed. This is done more to make sure any concerns pertinent to the dog you are interested in can be addressed. Most small senior dogs don't require a large, fenced yard. A trial adoption can begin with the home visit. Should the trial begin at the home visit, Act2Pups provides everything the dog requires. The trial usually lasts no more than a week. Any time during the trial the applicant can choose to adopt. All of our senior pups are in foster homes. Contact:   act2pups@yahoo.com for additional information on any of our pups.
