Peanut's Story
Peanut is around 5 yrs old, black and rust male, neutered, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 13", 13 lbs. Owner give up
Peanut is a bigger boy and was basically turned in as a feral dog. The people that owned him left him and 5 other min pins outdoors all the time. They had access to a covered area but were basically left outside and never in the house. He is not housebroken. He will use the dog door but will pee in the house at night. I use a belly band on him. Here are some musts for Peanut:
* Female(s) only, He has not let my husband touch him and it has been 6 months
* Fenced yard necessary. He loves to be outside for hours, heat or cold
* He needs obedience training or someone who is willing to diligently work with him on an ongoing basis
* He needs at least one (or more) dog in the household. Bigger than he is would be better as he knocks over my little one often
* He is not an apartment dog
* He needs a LOT of patience. We have seen improvement but it has been slow
* Per owner he gets along with kids. Not sure about cats
* He is VERY active and like a lot of Min Pins, he needs a job (walking his territory every day at the least)
* he is a happy lug of a boy and very handsome to boot.

UPDATE 04/28/25: Say Hello to Peanut, AKA " The Ladies Man" He has been in foster care for a few months now. He joined us with his siblings and he has watched all of them get adopted while he patiently waits for his perfect match to find him. Peanut is around 5 years old and 13 pounds of MinPin love . While he is very loving and sweet he is also very independent. He prefers women but is learning to not mind men so much. Peanut is still working on his house manners and will do best in a house with a fenced yard so he can run and play and sunbathe, he will not do well in an apartment situation. No kitties for him, he has a bit of a high prey drive. Peanut is currently hanging out in the Fort Lauderdale area, if you have any questions about him please email his foster mom.

Peanut is located in Davie, FL and we will not fly this boy.
For more details, contact Sharee: minpinner24@yahoo.com
