Peanut's Story

Meet Peanut!

Peanut is a handsome 2–3-year-old grey and white Pit Bull mix who came to us after being found as stray. When he first arrived, he was very underweight and understandably scared, but this sweet boy has made some incredible progress! With a little time, patience, and lots of kindness from our staff and volunteers, Peanut has really started to come out of his shell.

He is gaining weight, learning the ropes of shelter life, and showing us more of his goofy, lovable personality every day. Peanut appears to be mostly house-trained and seems to do well with other dog-friendly dogs. He loves getting attention from his people and is eager to build a bond with someone who will give him the love and security he deserves.

Peanut has already overcome so much, and now he’s ready for the next chapter of his life. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, affectionate companion who just needs a chance to show you what a wonderful dog he can be, Peanut would love to meet you!

Peanut is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find his forever home. If this goofy boy interests you, feel free to call or stop by the Bisbee Animal Shelter. We're open 7 days a week from 10am to 2pm, and our phone number is 520-432-6020.
