Peaches's Story

Meet Peaches!

Peaches is a 7-month-old Beagle mix with a heart as sweet as her name. She currently weighs 40 pounds, and we estimate she'll be 45-55 pounds when fully grown, making her a wonderful medium-sized companion.

This affectionate girl loves nothing more than curling up with her foster mom for snuggles. Her incredibly soft coat and gentle personality make her the kind of dog you'll want to cuddle all day.

Peaches is house trained, crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is a fantastic passenger in the car. Whether you're running errands or heading out on an adventure, she's happy to ride along. She gets along well with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine companion in her forever home.

She hasn't been introduced to cats, but with slow, thoughtful introductions, we think she has the temperament to do well. Peaches also hasn't spent time with children, but her sweet, gentle nature leads us to believe she'd be a wonderful companion for older kids. As with any puppy, we encourage families with young children to carefully consider whether they're ready for the time, training, and supervision a growing dog requires.

Peaches thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where someone works from home or where she won't be left alone for long periods during the day. She loves being with her people and is happiest when she's part of the action.

Peaches will be available for adoption beginning July 21. By then, she will be spayed and have received her initial vaccinations. She will still need to complete her DAPPV vaccine series. If adopted locally, ARF will provide her remaining DAPPV booster vaccines as part of the adoption package, making it easy to keep her on schedule.

If you're looking for a loyal walking buddy, a world-class cuddle bug, and a best friend with an endless supply of love to give, Peaches is ready to steal your heart.

To learn more or to meet Peaches, complete our adoption application at https://www.arfhumane.org/adoption-application. We can't wait to help this sweet girl find the loving home she deserves!
