Peach's Story

Peach is a nine year old sweetheart with the kind of babyface that makes you double take. She carries herself with a soft, gentle energy and prefers to be near her person, whether that means curling up beside you on the couch or quietly supervising your day from a cozy nearby spot.

She is affectionate and devoted, happiest when she knows exactly where her human is. Peach can be a little timid at first, but once she feels safe, her playful side peeks out like sunshine through curtains.

Peach is scheduled to be spayed on Wednesday, February 25 and will be available for adoption after her procedure.

She and her foster sister Kiwi are wonderful together and may be adopted as a pair for a family ready for double the love. They are comfortable, respectful, and sweet with one another.

If an adopter already has dogs, there will need to be a thoughtful transition period for Peach. She will need time to adjust to new canine roommates. We recommend a slow introduction that includes leashing and crating as needed to set everyone up for success. This is true for almost every dog. Adjustment takes patience, structure, and grace for both the new dog and the resident dogs.

At nine years old, Peach is considered a senior, but do not let that word fool you. Senior simply means seasoned and she’s a wonderful companion.
