Meet Peace Lily
Meet Peace Lilly, a truly one-of-a-kind girl with a past she's left behind!
Peace Lilly's previous days were spent as nothing more than a babymaker, but now she's ready for a fresh start! We estimate her to be around 2 years old, weighing in at 50 lbs with a medium-sized body. Standing at knee-high, she sports a curly tail and ears that are a bit too short for her larger head!
Don't let her RBF fool you! She's the sweetheart behind the forever grumpy face that she presents in photos. Maybe she just doesn't like her photograph taken? Maybe she thinks she looks out of shape or doesn't like that her belly isn't tight like it used to be. We have tried to tell her it happens to all of us, especially after having kids!
With mesmerizing gold eyes that seem to see into your soul, Peace Lilly's breed mixes are a mystery, but we suspect she might have some labrador, schipperke, or even sharpei in her lineage. Sometimes, she resembles a graceful panther with her dark face and captivating gaze!
Peace Lilly is a sweetheart who craves attention and never fails to wag her curled tail like a fan when she sees you! Peace Lily absolutely refuses to go in her kennel, even her outside kennel! She will only go potty outside!
Peace Lilly's adoption fee is $225, she has received age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed, flea & tick treated, tested negative for heartworm & lyme disease, she will be microchipped and scheduled for spay upon adoption.
You can apply online for them at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sr2794&method=online_form_html&formid=21 OR stop in to the shelter 12 - 6 pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption.
Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 mos and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption.
