PB's Story

🐾Meet PB🐾 PB is a 4 year old Chihuahua mix. He is ready to find his furever family! PB is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, prevention, is microchipped, and neutered. He was surrendered to us due to his owner having to go into assisted living. The poor guy has been absolutely terrified here at the shelter. ☹️ With time he is slowly warming up and coming around and is already more tolerant of us handling him, but he is still just so scared and shut down. It's hard to even get him to go outside to go potty. 💔 He is used to living in a loving home with someone he loves and trusts - and that's what he needs now! We think he would be so much more comfortable in a home environment. He does good with cats and is a sweet boy when he gets comfortable. He needs someone to take a chance on him! He weighs 11 lbs. Warrick Humane Society's Adoption Policy

The Warrick Humane Society is a no-kill organization. Once an animal is rescued by WHS, it is saved for life. We will not release an animal to another organization that has a policy of euthanasia. In addition, we will only place animals with qualified prospective owners. We do not adopt out dogs or cats that will be kept outside. We only want loving indoor homes for our pets. We do thorough checks on all of our potential adopters before sending them to their fur-ever home. We also require that if you adopt a pet from us and are no longer able to keep it that it be returned to us, so that we can find it a new home.
