My foster family calls me their black stallion because of my shiny black coat, but underneath it all, I'm really just a gentle teddy bear.<br/><br/>I love people and bond well with men, women, and kids, though older children may be the best fit for me. I can be a little shy at first, but once I feel comfortable, I'm incredibly loyal and affectionate.<br/><br/>I'm a good boy in the house, I've done well with my foster siblings. I like walks, and I'm making good progress with a gentle leader and continued training.<br/><br/>I'm house trained, crate trained, and very smart. I know several commands, including sit, stay, paw, come, down, and go to bed. I love learning new things and making my people proud.<br/><br/>I enjoy walks, hikes, relaxing outside in the sunshine, and riding in the car with the window cracked just enough for my ears to flap. Im also perfectly happy curling up near my people or relaxing quietly in my own bed.<br/><br/>Im looking for a loving home that will give me patience, structure, reassurance, and plenty of companionship.
