With other dogs: Pax, as respectful and gentle as he is with people, at times he elects to dominate certain dogs; however, not all dogs. For this reason, Pax would perfectly flourish in a home as the only dog. Otherwise, Pax is an outstanding dog.
Pax loves people! He's a happy dog, who is at his height when there's human attention. Highly intelligent, Pax responds to commands like the bright pup he is. Leash walking is a breeze with Pax! Indoors and outdoors he's hush-hush quiet, never creating a disturbance. He does not lift his leg, nor rummage through the trash, nor destroy household items. When approached with a treat, Pax will wait and then slowly lean forward and ever so gently take the treat, being careful not to allow his teeth to in any way touch the hand. Truly endearing!
We have a nutritional program that stands high in providing dogs their every need. Feed a dog to do more than survive. Feed a dog to thrive. Our dogs are fed top quality kibble -- rotating manufacturers -- fresh fruits and vegetables, raw egg and raw protein daily. Raw and fresh. At bedtime all our dogs are given a hunk of fresh sweet potato. Not only do they love the treat, it serves to clean their teeth! There is nothing to support feeding the same manufacturer bag after bag. No one dog food has it all. One formula cannot provide a dog's nutritional needs long term. Food rotation -- VARIETY -- covers all the bases for a dog's natural biological needs.
