Paula's Story

The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org

Don't let these sad eyes stay sad for long! Meet Paula from Paullina This pretty girl is a 4-5 year old female spaniel mix. Her story before being found as a stray is unknown, but it’s likely she was dumped. Since being picked up by the police she has been in the care of a foster home and has found a new outlook on life.

She has an old leg break that and healed wonky and now causes a bit of a limp but nothing to do to change that now.

She also had a severely infected uterus that was removed in an emergency surgery at her intake appointment.

She follows her foster mom around like a shadow getting all the head and belly scratches she can get.

Paula from Paullina is a 4-5 year old female mix. So a home as an only dog would be wonderful. We can test her with cats if there is a cat friendly home looking for an easy going doggie.

She is house trained, crate trained, and knows sit, shake, lay down.

She’s quite a chill chic and is not considered a ‘high energy’ dog at all. She is content snoring next to or at the feet of her person. If Paula sounds like the perfect fit to your lifestyle check out the application and maybe we can make a match! She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $275.00
