Patty's Story
Patty is a 2-year-old Havanese mix with a playful spirit and a growing sense of confidence. She came to us with a very matted coat, so she’s sporting a short haircut for now—but once her soft curls grow back, she’ll be looking like a little superstar!

Patty has been with us for a while. Her good qualities are really good but her not so good qualities need a little work. This seems to deter people from adopting her. With the right combination of family, environment and training she will accomplish great things! She’s leash trained, housebroken, and absolutely loves toys—especially stealing socks, so guard your laundry! Patty is a bit stubborn and may not listen when she's being told what to do. She does guard things of high value and could benefit from training with a behaviorist so it's done properly and effectively.

She’d do best in a home with no kids. She's ok with other dogs but does not necessarily need to live with another dog.

Patty is current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and spayed. With a little time and patience, she’s going to make a wonderful companion.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org.
