Pattie's Story

Meet Pattie! Pattie successfully completed 10 weeks of basic training at our GRC partner location! Pattie is a 1.5-year-old Border Collie mix with a playful, affectionate nature and a bright, eager-to-learn personality. She has a sweet and loving disposition, always ready to give affection to those she trusts. With patience, consistency, and persistent training, Pattie will no doubt improve her skills and become a well-mannered and devoted companion. She has so much love to give and will make a wonderful addition to a home! Although Pattie doesn't seem to mind the presence of other dogs, we feel that she would prefer to be the only dog in the home. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog. Adopting an animal is an important decision that will affect you, your household, and the animal for many years to come. Our primary goal is to place animals in a loving and forever home. We strive for the best possible match between you and your new pet. If you do not find the right animal on your first visit to our shelter, please return another day when new animals will be available for adoption. We include as much information as we know about an animal on their information card. We are here to help make a wonderful new addition to your family. Adoption Requirements • Must be 18 years of age or older (seniors 65 and over qualify for the Seniors for Seniors program) • Must have valid ID with current address • Must provide landlord’s name and phone number (or copy of current lease) • All members of the household should be present • You must understand that Berea Animal Rescue must approve your adoption application If this is your first visit, please follow this link, bit.ly/ARFWaiver, to provide us with your household’s information and sign our Animal Contact Waiver.
