PATSY's Story
Look at how pretty Patsy (A566267) looks! Patsy is relatively new around here, but is already stealing hearts with her sweet little face. We aren't sure what she went through before arriving here, but it appears that she hasn't had the easiest life. When she went in for her spay, our medical team found an old pelvic fracture which will likely need ongoing attention once she lands in her forever home. If you come to visit her, our medical team will gladly speak to you about this for full transparency. Personality wise, Patsy is as sweet as they come. She can appear shy at times, but it doesn't take much to win her over. She walks gently on a leash and likes to stay as close as possible. Patsy knows how to sit for treats, and is a total foodie! While she is not one to beg, she has the best puppy dog eyes that you really cannot say no to. With her gentle and sweet nature, we could see her doing really well with an elderly person who may not be able to handle a more energetic dog. We haven't observed her with children yet, but we suspect she would do well with them too. Since Patsy is new to our adoption floor, we haven't had the chance to test her with other dogs just yet, but please feel free to bring your own dog for a meet and greet! Patsy will make an amazing companion for someone, and if you think that might be you, please come meet her today! Patsy is guesstimated to be 3 years old and weighs 50 lbs, she will likely be a large breed adult weighing between 40-60 pounds as an adult. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a topical 90-day flea/ tick preventative. Ready to meet Patsy? All you have to do is stop by our shelter at 4950 Triana Blvd and head to our dog areas. You can find her in kennel D23. All adopters must be 19 years or older with a valid ID
