Patron's Story

Meet Patron! A soft-hearted sweetheart looking for her forever cuddle buddies.

At 6 years old and 54 lbs, Patron is a true pocket-sized girl that often gets mistaken for a puppy. This beautiful mixed-breed girl is calm, quiet, and completely content to go at her own pace. She spent the first six years of her life in one home, so she's now adjusting to big changes and is looking for a stable, loving forever family to help her feel safe again.

Patron is an independent queen with a soft side. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she becomes incredibly loyal. She's not overly clingy but will never turn down a chance to rest her head on your lap and soak up all of the scratches and cuddles.

At home, she's a total angel happy to snooze in her crate, relax on the couch, or hang nearby while you work. She's house-trained, crate-trained, and fully okay being alone if you need to head out for a bit (and will be excited to run up to greet you when you get home!)

Patron is super easygoing overall. She matches your schedule: want to sleep in? She'll sleep in. Early riser? She's with you. She's the kind of pup that just wants to be your quiet companion through whatever the day brings.

Patron would do best as the only dog in the home. Her relationship to other dogs seems to be based in curiousity and timidness versus aggression, but she will need some patience and support as she becomes more comfortable and confident around other dogs. Out on walks, she gets excited and pulls toward other dogs but with a bit of patience and structure, she'll keep improving her leash manners.

Patron is looking for someone with a gentle heart and a bit of patience, someone who will give her the space to bloom. And when she does, you'll have the sweetest, most soulful dog by your side.

She's calm. She's loyal. And she's ready for her forever.
