Meet Patriot:<br/>Patriot is a one year old collie x that came to us with his partner in crime, Hawk - both arriving skinny, dirty, and very stinky after their journey. Despite his rough start, Patriot’s sweet personality was obvious immediately!<br/>At about a year old, he has all the fun and personality of a puppy, but without the middle-of-the-night wakeups or early puppy stages like potty training.<br/>Patriot is still learning the ropes when it comes to basic obedience and leash walking, but he’s a smart boy who is making progress every day. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and has made plenty of friends here at the shelter, in addition to his best buddy Hawk.<br/>When Patriot first arrived, he was a little unsure about strangers in the busy shelter environment. With time, patience, and lots of positive experiences, he has gained confidence and is now extremely friendly with staff and volunteers.<br/>Once he feels comfortable, Patriot’s goofy personality really shines through.
