Patrick came from a horrendous hoarding situation. In fact, we didn't know that he would survive his first night with us. He was very thin and afraid when he arrived at Orphans of the Storm.

With lots of love from our staff and volunteers, Patrick has gained weight and his confidence. He loves any attention he can get. When you sit together, he will lean up against you.

Patrick likes taking walks in the field, rolling in the grass, or hanging out in the play area.

Patrick is very active and would love to have a home where he will get lots of attention and exercise.

Because of Patrick's background, he will need a very patient and understanding person to help him overcome potential issues he may have from his history.

Patrick is dog selective and will need several "get acquainted" meetups to be sure they are a good match. He probably would not be a good match with a male dog.

He seems to be fine with cats, however, he may chase them if they run as he likely has some heeler in him.

Patrick has had some tense interactions with other dogs. He will need slow introduction with other dogs and an experienced owner of dogs with selective behaviors.
