'Pathfinder'

Wow wow WOW!!! 5 yrs old owner surrendered 'Pathfinder' is an AWESOME looking big shepherd boy, quite distinct, very much so! He weighs a good 85-90 Lbs and is a lighter black/tan Sable with extremely intimidating light amber yellow eyes... you don't ever forget those eyes, that's for sure!! (-they burn into yours!) His overall appearance is very LOBO! Pathfinder is out of Czech Border Patrol lines and had been purchased by a single lady for protection purposes. ( .."had to move can't take with"..) He is all obedience trained and answers to some german commands aswell. Pathfinder is NOT NOT NOT for the novice owner/shepherd enthusiast as he is far too aggressive! You HAVE TO have EXPERIENCE with SCHUTZ trained dogs to inquire about this one heckuva awesome German Shepherd Dog! (-although correctly pro trained dogs would be stranger friendly on command and in general peaceful manner! ..well, this big lug is unfortunately not a "poochie" with strangers "just like that"!) Pathfinder is naturally extremely protective of what he realizes as "HIS"; his family and property, he's a natural at what he was bred to do. With his family he gives his ALL; 110% loyalty and super affection! He's a snap with his recall and is just SO VERY easy to deal with in general. He LOVES being dealt with! He is very outgoing, very engaging, active and is just a total NUT about his car rides! (...oops, don't anyone walk by the car window!! :-/ He has quiet, sharp, keen overall observance. He's very enthusiastic about you, comes to sit right smack in front of you ...maybe while you watch tv... : "mommy give me some lovin"! Lol! ...aaww, such eyes he comes out with!! :-)) He's such a darling with his family, absolut wonderful, a dang charmer, for sure! He knows how to work you!! (-yes, I will be sad to see him leave!) Pathfinder has extremely high preydrive so is not good with cats, but is great with female dogs (-I can definitely safely say that if a female got angry with him , he will be GONE in a flash! Lol! ...yes, although he is a "lady's gentleman", he is NOT going to mess with an angry female, even if he'd get hurt!) -and males in general that is NOT of dominant nature, otherwise he will NOT back down! He is good with small breeds too. Pathfinder's ideal home is out in the country but not on a traditional farm obviously due to roaming farm cats! He'd be wonderful as a jogging partner to a sports person, as a childless couple's "baby", etc! Above all; he will NOT be placed as a business establishment guard dog! ..that WILL be made sure of! The potential adoptor to Pathfinder will possess clear fearless dominance, knowledge and know how to respect and handle a protection trained dog! ..and give daily huggins and kisses! :-) Pathfinder is neutered, house and crate trained, obedience, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative and has Micro Chip identification.
