Hi! I’m Little Miss Patches, a young, spunky puppy with a big heart and even bigger energy. I’m affectionate and loving, but I prefer my cuddles in motion. If you go in for a big bear hug, I may dodge and zoom away — I’m the kind of girl who likes love paired with play. Not long ago, I was found terrified in the middle of a busy Miami intersection with a small injury on my head. Thankfully, I’m safe now, healing well, and thriving with my rescue. I’m approximately 3–4 months old and I’m a fast learner with “hurricane-with-paws” puppy energy. I’ll do best in a home that enjoys training, structure, and daily outlets for my body and brain. If you’re looking for a couch potato, that’s not me — I’d rather be working on skills, playing, or tackling enrichment activities. What I’m learning so far: * Crate trained * Doing well with potty training * Picked up my routine in just 3 days * Very food motivated (training is my favorite) I’ve been with my rescue since December 2 and I’m ready for a home that will keep building on my confidence, manners, and training. With the right family, I’m going to be an incredible companion — smart, fun, and endlessly entertaining. Our goal is to make great matches that set both you and your new pup up for success. **1) Submit an application** Start by completing our adoption application. We review applications in the order received and will reach out with any follow-up questions. **2) Screening & conversation** We’ll contact you to discuss your lifestyle, home environment, pets, and what you’re looking for. This helps us confirm fit and recommend the best match. **3) Meet & greet** If approved, we schedule a meet-and-greet (and for current dogs, a dog-to-dog introduction when needed). Some meet-and-greets may be held at a foster home, boarding facility, or event. **4) Approval & adoption details** Once everyone is comfortable, we finalize the adoption. This includes a signed contract, adoption fee, and confirmation of pickup/transition details. **5) Go-home day + support** Your new family member goes home, and we remain available for guidance as your dog settles in. We love updates and “happy tails”! **Notes:** * We may require landlord approval if you rent. * Home checks may be requested for certain dogs/situations. * Adoption fees help cover vetting and lifesaving care.
