Meet Patches
TO CONTACT THE FOSTER HOME, email Kimberlykanely@gmail.com. DO NOT use the Petfinder form. Inquiries don't reach us.
Patches is 7 months old and about 30#. She is on the thin side and I would expect her to be a large 50# plus when done growing.
Patches is VERY shy but so sweet. She will submissive pee when attention is given one on one. I expect her to out grow this once social skills are solid. She is still learning how to be a dog and a great dog she will be.
Patches has good recall and is NOT leash trained. She is off leash here and always comes when called.
Patches is chicken safe when supervised but like a puppy she thinks they are fun to play with. The chickens not so much. A stern NO redirects her attention. She is great with the horses and people.
Patches will need a home where she can learn how great people are. She is super submissive and scares easily. Punishment for this dog will never be necessary.
Adopters be aware Patches is a large puppy. Meaning she will do everything a small puppy does but she is able to reach higher! You will need to teach her everything.
Patches loves other friendly dogs and all people.
Patches can climb a 4.5’ wire mesh gate without blinking. If you have a fence, a 5’ + privacy fence is probably best to consider containing her.
Patches sister is Pyper.
