Patch's Story
Patch was found and rescued when he was spotted trying to find shelter outside this winter. We think he was living under a tarp in an empty basement of a torn down house. A volunteer was able to rescue him and after several weeks he began to trust. Patch is currently living with other dogs in an adult home. He has made so much progress and continues to get more comfortable but he needs more socialization. He does fine when he approaches new people for pets but is still skiddish if someone tries to approach him suddenly. We think a calmer home with older kids should be fine but young kids might make him nervous. Patch is still working on trust so people with patience and another dog would be the best fit for him. A home with a fenced yard so he can be safe is required.<br/>Patch weighs about 40 pounds.
