Partner's Story

Partner - the kind of companion everyone hopes to find.
True to her name, Partner is a sweet, steady hound mix who's happiest right by your side. With her classic tri-color coat, brown eyes, and at 42-lb just-right size, she's a young adult beauty with a calm, gentle presence. Partner loves to follow her nose and explore all the smells, taking in the world with quiet curiosity and delight. She's affectionate, content to share cuddles after a sniff-filled stroll, and brings a peaceful, loving energy wherever she goes. If you're looking for a loyal partner for life-one who will walk with you, relax with you, and love you completely-this lovely girl is ready to be yours

Weekend Host Feedback: "Partner is such a sweet girl. She was amazing with all kids, and she got along beautifully with our dog (lab mix). We had a large group of kids over both nights and she was great with everyone she met. Although she resisted slightly going into the crate, it was easy to give her a little nudge and she would settle in without issue and slept in the crate peacefully through the night for both nights.. Once comfortable, she knew to potty outside. She rides very well in the car and likes to look out the front window. We did many walks and a trip to the trails at Falls Lake and she was in heaven sniffing around. She did pull some on the leash as she is guided by her nose! But already after two days and many walks, she already seemed to improve. She was not interested in eating the dry kibble or pumpkin puree, but loved the pate wet food. She is a very sweet girl and her playful side came out after about a day. She loved to wrestle playfully with our dog and her favorite toy was the pull toy. She is happiest smelling and sniffing around outside!"

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
