Parsa's Story

Hi, I’m Parsa – 7 years young, full of sass, and absolutely ready to be your adventure buddy! I’m a mixed breed, which basically means I’m a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Some people say I’m “dog reactive,” but I prefer to think of myself as a discerning dog critic. I don’t hand out tail wags to just anyone, thank you very much.

What I do hand out? Love and attention. Lots of it. I need someone who is home pretty much all the time, because I thrive when I’m with my person and being included in everyday life. I also need to be the only dog in the home, and I’d do best in a place where there aren’t many dogs nearby—I really prefer a quiet space without canine neighbors.

My hobbies? Oh, I have plenty. I adore long hikes—bonus points if there’s a mountain view. I leap through tall grass like I’m starring in my own action movie. I squeak my toys until they surrender. And after I’ve conquered the day, I’m all about those cozy cuddles, ear scratches, and belly rubs.

I’ll be honest: I’m a bit of a challenging gal who needs the right person—someone experienced, patient, and ready to give a sassy sweetheart a real chance. I may not love other dogs, but I love my people fiercely.

If you’re someone who enjoys the outdoors, appreciates a big personality, and wants a loyal, goofy, deer-jumping cuddlebug at your side, I’m your girl.

Let’s make life one big, muddy, happy adventure—together!

Interested in adopting me? We recommend submitting a general online adoption application and then heading to the shelter during our normal adoption hours (Mon: 12-4pm and Tues-Sun: 12-5pm) to meet our available animals. Please note: all applications are considered general until the animal has been met. If you have any questions, please contact animalcenter@bmorehumane.org or 410-833-8848 Ext/Opt 2.
