If there is one thing you need to know about me, its that I LOVEEE playing with dogs! I am your typical young dog. I love to play and give lovings (especially kisses). My favorite type of toy is... oh I can't decide. I love to play with stuffed toys and balls and kongs and there are just too many to choose. I have this special power. I can find mud ANYWHERE! Even though I look like a terrier, foster mom says I act like a hound. I love to play with my doggy friends. I do accept ear scratches on my play breaks and may even sneak in a few kisses. I am housetrained, crate trained and really love when you leave me some chew toys or a yummy treats. I really love to chase little things. Foster mama thinks I have a cattle dog brain so no kitties in my future. I am all up to date on my vetting. Now I just need some awesome person to adopt me!<br/><br/>The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet. ♥ Apply to Adopt Complete our adoption application. All adopters must be at least 21. ♥ Phone interview An application coordinator will reach out to discuss your new canine family member ♥ Reference Checks Volunteer contacts your veterinarian (if applicable) and personal references. All resident dogs must be spayed/neutered and current with Rabies, DHPP (distemper-combo vaccine), and monthly flea, tick, heartworm prevention unless medical reasons prohibit. ♥ Family meeting All human and canine family members must meet the new dog at either an event or a private meeting. ♥ Finalize the Adoption Sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee which covers: • spay / neuter surgery • microchip • flea, tick, heartworm prevention • wellness exam • age appropriate vaccines All Pawfect Match dogs go home with a collar, leash, and a Pawfect Match tag.
