Thankfully, that chapter is behind him, and he’s now getting the fresh start he deserves.<br/><br/>Since arriving in foster care, Parker has been thriving. He is doing well with potty training and crate training and continues to make great progress each day. He’s dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and has the playful, goofy personality you’d expect from a young pup. He loves to play, explore, and be part of the action.<br/><br/>Parker can be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly once he feels safe. With continued exposure and positive experiences, his confidence will only continue to grow. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy who just needed a chance to feel secure.<br/><br/>He would do wonderfully in a home ready to continue guiding him through puppyhood with patience, structure, and lots of love. Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.<br/><br/>2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.<br/><br/>3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit.<br/><br/>4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.<br/><br/>5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.<br/><br/>6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old.<br/><br/>**Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
