Take me home today!<br/>I was brought in as a stray, but no one claimed me. I am looking for a new home! I am a very sweet but shy boy, estimated to be around 3 years old. I am a Border Collie mix weighing close to 35lbs. I was definitely roaming by myself for a while and have come to be a little skittish with new people at first. I warm up very quickly and am the sweetest boy! I do have a breathing issue and have been checked out by a vet. They are stumped and do not have a diagnosis for me. I will need to go to a specialist in the future to help figure out my needs. I breath very fast and gasp for air when I get over excited. It could be asthma, but I need more resources to know for sure. The shelter has exhausted all of their resources for me. I walk well on a leash and appear to be housebroken. It is unknown how I react to other animals, but the other dogs do not seem to bother me. I was very curious about the cats in the vet office and may have potential with cats with a proper introduction. I would do better with kids that respect my boundaries as I am very shy at first and do not want to be smothered by the young ones. I would make a great family dog! I am already neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, now ready to meet my new loving family!
