Paris is very nervous around men and acclimates to women much quicker and easier.<br/><br/>Paris will need a patient family willing to give her time to adjust and warm up.<br/><br/>ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:<br/><br/>Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe - no invisible fences.<br/>Paris would do best in a home with a resident dog to help show her the ropes and boost her confidence.<br/>*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.<br/><br/>Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
