Pardo's Story

Talk about resilience: 1st he was abandoned by his family. 2nd he got distemper (and survived!) 3rd, wandering the streets for food, he was hit by a car, which severely injured his jaw. <br/><br/>Even thru all that he is a happy easy going dog, that everyone at the shelter loves to spend time with. <br/><br/>Who can give this handsome blond boy a chance at a forever home? And he really loves humans, probably even more attached to them Watching Netflix on the couch is one of his favorites bc it means its cuddle time! <br/><br/> Energy: Low-medium<br/> Good with children: Yes<br/> Good with dogs: Yes, he lives with them & loves them.<br/> Good with cats: Not tested enough to determine <br/> Barking: Rarely<br/> House-trained: Yes<br/> Leash-trained: Yes does great, no pulling. <br/>Obs: sometimes he can be shy at first while on leash. Introductions are important for him<br/> Good in car: Yes<br/><br/> RESCUE STORY<br/>Pardo is a distemper survivor . And if that wasn't enough, his owners abandoned him and he was run over by a car. Although found in bad shape, he was attended to by a a kind, dedicated doctor who was determined to save him. He is now back to 100% healthy (and only has a little twitch from the distemper that makes him look like hes head bobbing to some great music ).
