Papa's Story

This guy is about 7 years old. He has quite the story. His original owner went to jail so a friend took him in. Shortly after release, the original owner committed suicide so the friend kept him. They were inseparable.

Papa had a cancerous tumor in his mouth, several years ago and to remove it all, part of his jaw had to go with it. He also had horrible allergies, so an allergy panel was done. He was very clearly loved.

Fast forward a few years and his new owner began a relationship and had children. Her words “Papa became the lowest priority and was in a crate all day so we rehomed him”. That lasted 2 weeks and he ended up in a shelter.

So, he’s with us now.

Papa:
-Fun, energetic, sweet behavior
-Loves any and all toys
-Loves endless belly rubs
-Loves snuggles on the couch
-Gets along well with dogs of all sizes with slow introductions
-Gets along with cats
-Fully potty trained
Quirks-
-missing part of his jaw, means drool.
