My name is Papa, and I'm a 2-5-year-old Chihuahua mix looking for someone to give me the chance I deserve.<br/><br/>I came from a very difficult situation with over 20 other dogs in August 2025. I didn't get much human interaction before being rescued, so I can be cautious and nervous when meeting new people. I may seem tough at first, but I'm just waiting for someone I can trust.<br/><br/>I need a quiet home with a patient family who will let me adjust at my own pace. A space just for me while I bond with my new family would help me feel safe. I do well with most dogs, but I'm unsure about cats and I'm not comfortable around children.<br/><br/>My dream home would have a fenced-in yard where I can relax, play, and enjoy life. I can also learn to use potty pads since I've never had a consistent routine.<br/><br/>I've been here almost a year, and I'm the last of my family still waiting.
