Panther's Story

PANTHER - M / hound mix / 2 years / 50-55 lbs

Panther had a rougher start than any puppy should, but thankfully a lovely woman found him and brought him home. While in foster care, he’s blossomed into a loving, affectionate, playful guy.

Panther is great with dogs and people and is looking for a home with family members who will include him in their daily activities. He would love a secure backyard where he can run around and play—and he’d love a dog pal, too, but it’s not a requirement. While Panther has lived with cats, he tends to chase them and we think he'd do best in a home without them.

Panther has been working hard on his leash skills and has improved immensely! He sometimes pulls when he sees another dog or someone he wants to say hello to. He’s very excitable and has lots of energy, so he’s looking for a family that will help him get the physical and mental exercise he needs each day.

Panther is currently in Puerto Vallarta awaiting a foster or foster-to-adopt home in Canada. If you'd like to welcome him into your family, please complete an application. His adoption fee is $550, which includes full vetting and all travel costs.
