Panda's Story
Panda was adopted from Four Paws a few years ago, but now needs to find a new home. His owners had work schedule changes and Panda was alone all day and was not happy. He has the typical border collie markings but is a beautiful brown color with a short coat. He is about 3 years old. His owners called him Aussie and tell us this about him:
The best hiking dog in the world! He gets along great with other dogs, animals, and loves children. He is house trained, good in a crate, and is used to having a doggie door. He can be on or off leash and responds well to the commands "stay" and "come". He also knows the commands for sit, lay down, and go away (this is if people are at the door, he will go to a designated spot and stay until released to greet the guests). He is intelligent and very people focused. He enjoys being petted and loves praise. He will stay in a fenced yard and will not wander off if told to stay. He can be high energy, but also loves to stop and snuggle. If left alone and bored he will jump on counters, tables, and other places he shouldn't. He loves to go on walks and hikes. He enjoys playing in water, but does not love swimming.
Panda is looking for a forever family to call his own. His adoption fee is $250, which includes neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations (parvo/distemper and rabies.)
