Panda's Story

Meet Panda! Panda and her 8 puppies were actually held as part of a court case, so it was a bit before we were able to get them. We don't know the details of the case and based on the scars on poor Panda, we probably don't want to. That is all behind her now though! Panda has successfully completed treatment for heartworm disease and is officially free of those nasty creatures and ready to find her perfect forever home! Panda is about 7 years old but don't tell her that! This girl still loves to get out and romp and play with dogs half her age in her foster home - as long as they are big enough to keep up with her, Panda isn't too fond of small breed dogs. She's great with all people and would love a comfy sofa to curl up on for a nice nap. Interested in adopting Panda and showing her how good life can really be? Rescue Me Ga Inc's Adoption Policy

We have an application process that we require for any adoption. The application can be found on our website at www.rmgdogs.org - its the first step in our process and required before we set up a time for you to meet the dog you are interested in …. ALL of our dogs are completely vetted - all vaccines - spay or neuter - dewormings - chip - heart worm tested and treated if needed and ready to be loved. WE are foster based which means our dogs are in homes or temporary boarding when we rescue them -- we know their personalities and what would be their best fit! Our dogs come from a rural Georgia shelter and often we take in surrenders from families facing difficult situations….. WE do post many dogs still in need at animal control as well as all who have been saved already that are in foster homes. We do NOT operate a facility where you can visit the dogs unless you contact us to possibly meet one already in a foster

RESCUE ME GEORGIA is a 501c3 non profit rescue group dedicated to saving dogs from a small rural shelter and county outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Since our start November of 2011, we have saved more than 5000 animals in need and have been able to be a part of so many lives changed!
