Panchito's Story

Meet Panchito! This sweet puppy was born in June 2025 we estimate in La Paz, Mexico and was rescued at only a couple months old. He has lived almost his whole life in foster care in Mexico, and is currently being fostered in Portland, Oregon. Panchito currently weighs around 25lbs and we do not really think he will get any bigger. This sweet boy is a playful and sweet soul, and he cannot wait to find his furever family!

Panchito has been thriving in his foster home in Portland since arriving in early February. At first this sweet boy can be shy when entering a new home, but after a few days he really adjusts and his sweet playful side emerges. Panchito is a heart stealer and all of his foster fursiblings love him. Panchito rides well in the car and is house trained. He currently working on learning some basic commands and refining his kennel skills. Panchito lived in Mexico with small children and cats as well, so he really is the perfect pup for any type of home. This sweet boy would be the perfect addition to any family that is wanting a small companion to cuddle and take on adventures with.

All of Saving Baja Paws dogs come with a fantastic flexible foster-to-adopt option. This is a unique opportunity that allows your family to make sure it a perfect match with your new pup.

Panchito's adoption fee for Oregon, Washington, or California is $475USD. This helps us cover most of his vet and care costs incurred in Mexico, and the transport fee to bring our pups over 1,500 miles to the PNW. All our dogs come spay or neutered, with all theirs shots for the year, and have had multiple blood tests done prior to entering the USA from Mexico.

All our pups come fully up to date on shots, are tested for heartworm and other diseases, microchipped, fecal tested, current on flea medications, and also come spayed / neutered.
Please Apply >> savingbajapaws.org/application
