Pancake aka Brown's Story

This lil 14 pd chi mix came from a hoarding situation on the east coast of Florida. She is unsocialized, needs a quiet home, is not aggressive to people. She just needs time. We just got her so allowing for decompression is very important. Right now an airline crate is her safe space. She has made no attempt to bite just wants to be as small as possible. Fostered in Bradenton. Someone who has experience with hoarding dogs, fearful dogs will be good for this girl. Must have a fenced yard, and another calm dog, not in your face type of dog.
We have made some progress 3/7!! Brown is taking food from my hand and will approach you for more!!! She is intimidated by other dogs that are in her face and will stay on the outer circle. Once you have her alone she will approach and take food and actually allow petting. She needs a lot more one on one. She has a habit of spinning in the crate when being fed. Not so concerned about that, it should go away in time. it does not prevent her from eating and she has a good appetite!!
Brown needs a very patient foster maybe one other dog. She does crate well prefers an airline crate, She is housebroken and uses a dog door! She needs to learn to walk on lead, get used to being touched, and to trust people.
She is a special needs and a project dog. I know there are not many of you out there, but inside this lil gal is a gem of a dog once you win her over. Currently fostered in Bradenton.
