Pancake's Story
Pancake — 9.5 Pounds of Playful Love!

At around 2 years old and just 9.5 pounds, Pancake is currently available for adoption with Little Dog Rescue Society. Pancake is a Chihuahua mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter in California.

Pancake is a little girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This adorable, affectionate girl loves to play, roughhouse with her furry friends, and keep life fun. She has moderate to high energy and would love a home where she can enjoy plenty of playtime, attention, and adventures with her favourite people.

When the fun is over, Pancake has a softer side. She loves nothing more than curling up close to her person for some cozy snuggles. She’s a little cuddle bug who wants to be part of your world and share those special moments together.

Pancake can be a bit vocal and isn’t afraid to speak her mind. She may occasionally get a little bossy with her doggy friends, especially when it comes to claiming lap time with her favourite human! She has not shown aggression, food guarding, or toy guarding, but she does use her voice to communicate when she wants some one-on-one attention. In a calmer home, she may settle into a quieter routine.

Pancake could be happy as an only dog with someone who is home often and willing to include her in daily life, or with another playful, confident dog who enjoys a bit of rough-and-tumble fun and can handle her spirited personality.

If you’re looking for a small companion with a playful streak, a loving heart, and plenty of character packed into one tiny package, Pancake might just be your perfect little sidekick!
