He's a bit shy when he first meets new people; once he knows he's safe, he loves everyone and everything! Pancake is an adorable mix of Border Collie, Terrier and Heeler. He has an irresistible scruffy face and body with charming cow spots!

Pancake (and his sister Waffle) are 16 wks. old, and best guess is he'll weigh 45-55# when full-grown. He's currently 22# of love! He loves belly rubs and is a *champion* snuggler!

Pancake needs a physical fenced yard to play in, and must have a friendly adult doggie housemate he can follow and learn from, to help him continue building his confidence.

He is learning about crate training and house training (and doing great so far), along with experiencing all the different sights and sounds in his foster home.

His ideal home will be with an adult family, or one with respectful kids 10+ and a consistent schedule. Pancake is playful and affectionate, and he's looking for a fun-loving family who will include him in fun adventures and welcome him on the couch or bed for cuddle time! Adoption preference will be given to families who plan to attend positive reinforcement manners classes with their new pup!

A certificate will be provided by the Rescue upon request toward spay/neuter at 6 months of age, redeemable at Doctor Paws Veterinary Hospital in Ypsilanti, MI.
