Pan's Story

Meet Pan: adventure buddy, puzzle master, and certified springtime gentleman.

Pan has been having a great spring and is working hard to show the world what a good boy he can be. He has been joining weekly walks at Stone Mountain for extra visibility and enrichment, and he has been a perfect gentleman with the dogs he meets along the way. He’s social, curious, and happy to get out and explore with his people.

Pan also had a fantastic holiday season. He spent Christmas at another home while his foster family traveled, and he did great with the resident dog. The two of them played nonstop, and Pan handled the change in routine like a champ. On New Year’s Eve, despite plenty of neighborhood fireworks, Pan was completely unfazed and slept through almost all of it.

The longer Pan has been in foster, the more his sweet, cuddly side has come out. He loves being close to his people and will happily curl up at the foot of the bed when invited. Sometimes he even sneaks in for some cuddle time between his foster parents.

Pan is an active, smart dog who does best with structure, boundaries, and enrichment. He has been working on recall and backyard boundaries, and his foster family has seen great progress. He’s also been enjoying puzzle feeders for dinner, which help tire out his brain and reduce some of his excess energy and neurotic barking. Like many smart dogs, Pan thrives when he has something to do.

Pan is looking for a home that will continue giving him the guidance, routine, and activity he needs to succeed. He would love a family who enjoys walks, adventures, training, and letting him be part of daily life. He has done well with other dogs and would likely enjoy a playful canine friend with proper introductions.

Pan is fun, affectionate, resilient, and so ready for his forever home. He has come such a long way, and now he just needs someone willing to give him the structure, love, and commitment he deserves.

Pan is ready for spring adventures, couch cuddles, and a family of his own. Could that be you?
