Palmer's Story

This active guy came to the kennel in pretty bad shape. He was underweight and he had a lot of hair loss and skin irritation. He’s looking better each day. It will take a bit of good nutrition and flea and tick treatment to get his chocolate brown coat looking healthy again. He’s a happy pup who’s always on the go. Those skinny legs are doing a great job getting him places! In a few weeks he won’t look like the same sad dog that came in. He’ll be beautiful and healthy and looking forward to a better life than he’s had. <br/>He went on a little outing with one of the volunteers and she reported that he was great in the car and loved being out and about! Sable Kennel's Adoption Policy

We are by appointment only. We advertise the available animals on our Facebook page and now on petfinder. Potential adopters will email us for an application. That application will be reviewed and once approved, the adopters can make arrangements to meet the dog. All dogs, kids and adults in the household must come for a meet and greet prior to taking the dog home. We will provide advice and support after adoption to make sure that the dog succeeds in their new home.
