Paco's Story
Paco's enthusiastically waiting to find his forever home! He's a 50 pound 3 year old whose day job consists of helping other foster dogs settle in and show their true colors. He loves to play and has done well with many personalities, although he really prefers to be with dogs who like to run, wrestle, and play with toys. His signature move is rolling on his back, begging his furry friends to jump on him. He'd also be happy in a home without other dogs as long as he has a backyard to play in, but wrestling plus a morning and evening walk covers his exercise needs (and then some).

In his free time, Paco loves watching birds, squirrels, and deer, especially when he gets to see them on hikes. He has learned that he isn't always allowed to chase them and usually ignores them on leash. He likes to avoid going outside in the rain but doesn't really mind storms so he's a great adventure buddy. He recently learned that birds aren't the only animals that like swimming in the water - turtles and fish live there too! It has been a very exciting discovery.

At home, Paco's laid back and low maintenance. He'll happily do his own thing if he's home alone, but he loves to learn new tricks or just hang out and cuddle with his people. He's a quick learner and is food motivated which has allowed him to learn everything from basic tricks to some agility and searching for food around the house. He'll be happiest in a home without kids under 10 years old.

Check out his DNA results here: www.wisdompanel.com/app/s/jpz64s0

If you'd like to meet Paco, please fill out an adoption form (link below) to get connected with our adoption team.
