When you are alone in the house with a Chihuahua, you are never alone -- they like to sleep on your lap, sit by your side, or follow you from room to room while you do chores. This breed craves affection and companionship.&nbsp; They are quick-witted, cunning, and sweet.&nbsp; When you are away from home, they protect the home as their personal domain, barking at the sign of any approaching stranger (making them surprisingly effective watchdogs). Their name comes from the Latin word terra, meaning earth, and references their love of digging for such prey as foxes, moles, badgers, and rats.&nbsp; Terriers come in a wide range of sizes and shapes, but they all share a feisty, mischievous personality and an energetic nature. They are highly intelligent and trainable, and like to live with people who have a great sense of humor.</span></p><br/><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 14.0pt; mso-pagination: none; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: Tahoma;">Paco is part of our <strong>Adopt &amp; Stay Program</strong>.
