Pacha's Story

Pacha is the kind of dog who makes us wonder how he is still waiting. He is the last puppy of his litter, and somehow, at 2 years old, this incredible boy has not had a SINGLE application. Not one. Not even an inquiry, people just scroll on by... We really cannot understand how a dog this sweet, handsome, loving, and downright wonderful continues to be overlooked.

Pacha is a DNA tested German Shepherd/Lab mix who is now about 80 pounds, but in his mind, he is still a big baby who just wants to be close to his people. He is an absolute lover who bonds quickly and then happily follows his person everywhere. If you get up, Pacha is getting up. If you move to another room, he is right behind you. He is your shadow, your companion, and your very large personal assistant who would like to be included in absolutely everything.

He has the sweetest, most adoring eyes, especially when he knows you are his person. Pacha is very treat motivated and eager to please, which makes him a fun dog to work with (and photogenic too). He is intelligent, affectionate, and already knows several commands, but he is always ready to learn more when there is a tasty reward involved.

Pacha is also playful and loves other dogs. He enjoys having canine friends to romp around with and would happily spend time playing before settling down with his people. He is house trained and crate trained, and he rides well in the car, making him an easy dog to include in adventures.

He enjoys going for walks and will happily walk right beside you once he knows you are his person. That said, Pacha is a very strong boy, and if he decides to pull, he has the size and strength to make sure you know it. His future family should be prepared to continue working on leash manners and should be physically capable of handling a large breed dog. With the right guidance and consistency, he is more than capable of being a wonderful walking companion.

Pacha is the kind of dog who gives you his whole heart once he trusts you. He is outgoing and friendly, but his bond with his people is what makes him especially special. He doesn't just want someone to feed him and take him outside, he wants a person to belong to. He wants to follow you around the house, look at you with those giant adoring eyes, play with his dog friends if you have any, and be part of your life.

We genuinely cannot understand why this boy has been passed over for so long. Maybe his person simply hasn't stopped on his page yet. Maybe they haven't seen the goofy, affectionate, giant baby hiding behind that handsome face. Or maybe they just haven't come to meet him.

So consider this your invitation: come meet Pacha. Spend a little time with him. Let him show you how quickly he will bond with you and how much love this big boy has to give. You might just discover the dog you've been looking for and Pacha might finally discover the family he has been waiting for.

Est DOB 5/20/24
