Pablo

Pablo came into rescue with Pepper thru one of out regular fosters. She had taken them out of a bad situation and then asked us to place them. Pablo is a tiny boy but he does have little dog syndrome and thinks he can take on the world! At just under 7 pounds, this boy has a huge personality and can be loving and sweet or fiesty and spicy. Pablo can be very vocal when he wants something. Pablo is a pretty active little guy but he gets along great with other dogs and should do fine with cats since most will probably be bigger than him and can put him in his place. Because of his small size and (sometimes) spicy nature, we do not recommend him for very small children. He should do fine with older kids who can understand and respect his space and who can be careful not to step on him or hurt him by being rough with him. Pablo is crate trained, although he doesn't like being in one much. He would prefer to be out and about with you. Pablo is a fun boy and the perfect size for traveling and/or taking him with you on your adventures. Pablo will make a wonderful companion! <br/>Pablo saw the vet on 1/13/26 and was found to have no issues. He has been started on Simparica Trio for flea control and heartworm prevention with us and had a negative heartworm test. He did test negative for intestinal parasites, however tapes were observed in his stool so we dewormed him with Drontal. Pablo weighed 6.7 pounds as of 1/13/26. He is fully vetted now and ready to find his forever family.<br/>If interested in giving Pablo his forever home, please submit your interest and your adoption application via email or text ONLY to 352-215-3260 (phone calls will not be answered or returned from this number). Pablo's adoption fee will be $300 to help cover the cost of his vetting and daily care while with us. We will only consider applicants who complete the adoption application and will determine whether the applicant would be a good fit for Pablo based on the info provided in the application. If we feel that you will be a good match for him, we will set up a meet and greet appointment with you.
