Ozzy is a playful, bouncy Lab/Pit mix born in December 2025 who brings joy wherever he goes. He’s full of personality and that irresistible puppy charm. As a young pup, he’ll need guidance with potty training, leash walking, basic commands, and continued socialization. Ozzy would thrive in a home with a fenced yard (not required) and an active family ready to keep up with his fun spirit. With proper introductions, he could fit in beautifully with other dogs, cats, and children. If you’re ready for laughter, love, and lots of puppy kisses, Ozzy is your guy! Ozzy has been neutered, vaccinated according to age, wormed, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention.<br/><br/>Note: To adopt, you must live within approximately 100 miles of one of our adoption sites (Benld or Springfield IL), and be at least 18 years of age.

Benld Adopt-A-Pet's Adoption Policy

To adopt you must live within 100 miles of one of our adoption sites (Benld or Springfield IL), and be at least 18 years of age. We require that you be physically present to make the final adoption arrangements. We also require that all cats be kept indoors, and that all dogs be kept or live indoors, with a secure fenced-in yard or pen for when they are outside, unless otherwise discussed and mutually agreed upon ahead of time. Failure to comply with any of these requirements may constitute sufficient grounds for our reclaiming the adopted animal. In order to adopt, you must first complete an Adoption Inquiry, and upon approval, an Adoption Agreement.
