Oxford TX's Story

Oxford was surrendered to a shelter in Texas when his family could no longer care for him. He had a growth in his mouth that required surgery which he has now had, thanks to NorthStar. Unfortunately, the biopsy on the growth revealed that Oxford is suffering from cancer which is expected to come back at some later date. We don't know how much time Oxford has left, but we would like to give him the chance to find a forever home although it would be a hospice situation.

This sweet senior boy is 11 years old and is very skinny at 8 pounds. His foster mom says that he is VERY loving and loves nothing more than cuddling up in a warm lap. And he's housetrained plus crate trained. Oxford is very low key and low maintenance. All he wants is someone he can curl up next to, someone who will make his remaining days as happy as possible. He was recently groomed and the first two photos show just how handsome he is!

If you are interested in a sweet lap boy like Oxford, please fill out an adoption application at www.northstarpets.org and be sure to mention his name!!
