Otto's Story

Little Otto is a smart, fun, and curious explorer with an adorable streak of independence. He loves checking out new toys and new spaces, happily tossing his toys around and zooming after them. When something really excites him, he’ll sit up on his back legs like a tiny meerkat and point with one paw — it’s as cute as it sounds.

While Otto is busy and playful during active time, he’s also wonderfully content curling up in his own bed when he’s tired. And if a human is nearby? He’ll plop right down next to you, tuck his head into your lap, and steal your heart. Once he’s feeling sleepy, Otto’s favorite things are deep, meaningful eye contact and belly rubs.

Otto has the softest, most beautiful brown coat, with lighter almost-gray streaks along his back and a tiny white patch on his chest. He’s been sleeping in his crate at night and is learning it’s a cozy, peaceful place — often heading in on his own and settling right down. With winter weather keeping outdoor training on hold, Otto has been very good about using the papers or pads provided and is sure to be a quick learner when the weather warms.

Otto is a wonderful mix of playful curiosity, independence, and snuggly sweetness — a truly special little guy.
